Weekend Event - Pioneer Hobby Show

Mitchell Pioneer & Hobby Association

Come and see the featured exhibit on “Minneapolis-Moline, Fox Equipment, Waterloo Bronco, Early Deutz Distributed by Waterloo Mfg. Co. Waterloo, Ont” in addition to a number of early gas and diesel tractors, old gas engines, Baker fan, antique cars and trucks, old farm machinery and the always popular; rope making demonstration.

The Parade: 11:30am

Saturday Events - paradeAn annual tradition, starting at Upper Thames Elementary School, the parade works it way to the fair grounds. Click “route” to go to the page with the map of the parade route.

Always colorful and entertaining, the fair kicks off our Saturday events schedule. Come welcome the participants, derby cars, riders, and much much more. Then enter the Fair and enjoy all it has to offer, from the Midway to our musical and pet entertainers. View the creative talents of our community in the Crystal Palace and enjoy great food. The 4-H Dairy/Beef Achievement Day – 10 am at the Barn

Saturday Events - 4H Dairy and Beef AchievementsBeginning at 10am, come and enjoy the 4-H competitions through out the day.

Our registrants are proud to bring their prized cattle to the fair to be judged in a friendly competition with their neighbors. Who will walk away with the best-of-class this year? They put a lot of work into their animals.
